Privacy notice: CEO Payments Benchmark

This notice explains how AIXL uses the information you give in the CEO Payments Benchmark survey.

Who we are

AIXL Limited, [registered address, company number], is the controller of your information. Contact us at privacy@aixl.com. [ICO registration number]

What we collect

Your answers to the survey questions, including any text you write. If you choose to give them: your name, role, bank, country, type of bank, card processors, approximate numbers of debit and credit cardholders, and your email address. Your choices about receiving the report and a follow-up call. We also record when you started and finished, and how far you got. Your answers are saved as you move through the survey, so a partly completed survey may be kept. If you arrived through a personal invitation link, we record its invitation code.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your answers to produce an industry benchmark of how bank leaders see AI, competition, risk and customer outcomes. We rely on our legitimate interest in conducting this research, which we have balanced against your interests: findings are published only in aggregate, in groups of at least five respondents, and are never attributed to you or your bank. If you ask for the benchmark report, we use your email address to send it to you, based on your consent. If you agree to a follow-up call, we use your details to arrange it, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

Our service provider Cloudflare, which hosts the survey and its database. [Confirm data location and the transfer mechanism, for example the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.] We do not sell your information or share your individual answers with any bank, card scheme or other third party.

How long we keep it

We keep individual responses for [24] months after the benchmark closes, then delete them. Aggregated findings, which identify no one, may be kept longer.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your response, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent for the report or follow-up contact, by emailing privacy@aixl.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Please don't share inside information

The survey asks for your views, not specific plans. Please don't include unannounced, confidential or price-sensitive information about your bank.
